- Scope and Application
These Terms govern:
the use of the Site;
the scheduling and conduct of videoconference appointments with Maison IV Ambassadors;
the conditions applicable to any purchase made during a one-to-one videoconference;
the rights and obligations of both Maison IV and any customer (“Customer”, “you”).
All sales are concluded exclusively during a one-to-one visioconference with a certified Maison IV Ambassador.
No direct checkout or cart-based purchase is available on the Site.
Maison IV reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time; the applicable version is the one in force at the moment of the videoconference sale.
- Products
Maison IV offers quiet-luxury gastronomic products including wine, champagne, charcuterie, cheeses, artisanal goods and accessories.
Given the artisanal nature of production, minor variations in appearance, texture, or packaging may occur.
Certain products (e.g., alcoholic beverages) may be subject to legal age restrictions or territorial limitations.
The Customer is responsible for complying with applicable regulations.
- Videoconference Appointments with Maison IV Ambassadors
4.1 Scheduling Appointments
Appointments are scheduled through the Site or through a Maison IV representative.
The Customer must provide accurate identification and contact details.
Maison IV may reschedule or cancel appointments in case of unavailability, technical issues, or force majeure.
4.2 Conduct of the Session
During the session, the Ambassador:
presents Maison IV’s products, collections, and curated boxes;
provides personalised recommendations;
explains prices, compositions, and delivery options;
formalises any order based on your explicit verbal and written confirmation.
Ambassadors do not provide legal, medical, or dietary advice.
4.3 Recording of Sessions
Videoconference sessions are not recorded unless:
the Customer gives explicit prior consent;
recording is required for fraud prevention or legal compliance.
- Orders (Ambassador-Led Sales)
5.1 Order Process
Unlike traditional e-commerce, orders are finalised as follows:
The Customer selects products with the Ambassador during the videoconference.
The Ambassador summarises the order (products, quantities, price, delivery costs, and options).
The Customer provides confirmation verbally AND via a secure written recap sent after the call.
Payment is executed through a secure link transmitted directly by Maison IV.
The sale is considered concluded only after full payment.
5.2 Order Confirmation
After receiving payment, Maison IV sends:
a detailed confirmation email;
the invoice;
expected delivery timeframes.
Maison IV reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order in case of:
payment issues;
suspected fraud;
stock unavailability;
age-restricted products being purchased by a minor.
5.3 Availability
Products are sold within the limits of available stocks.
If a product becomes unavailable after the videoconference:
Maison IV contacts the Customer and proposes
- a replacement,
- a delayed delivery, or
- a full refund.
- Payment
Payments are processed only through secure payment links sent after the videoconference.
Accepted methods may include:
credit or debit cards;
Apple Pay / Google Pay;
bank transfer;
approved external payment partners.
Maison IV does not store complete payment card information.
The order is binding only once payment is validated.
- Delivery
7.1 Delivery Areas
Maison IV delivers in France and, where permitted, abroad.
Some products (e.g., fresh goods, alcohol) may not be deliverable in certain territories.
7.2 Delivery Fees and Timeframes
Delivery costs are communicated during the videoconference and confirmed in writing before payment.
Delivery times vary based on:
destination;
product type;
seasonal volume;
carrier constraints.
Maison IV cannot be held responsible for delays attributable to carriers.
7.3 Receipt of Goods
The Customer must inspect packages upon delivery.
In case of damage, missing items, or visible defects:
the carrier must be notified immediately;
Maison IV must be contacted within 48 hours, with supporting photos.
- Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with EU consumer protection rules, a 14-day withdrawal period applies except for:
fresh or perishable goods;
opened or unsealed food items;
customised or personalised selections;
alcoholic products subject to market fluctuation;
products consumed or damaged after delivery.
To exercise withdrawal, the Customer must notify Maison IV at:

Products must be returned unused, unopened, and in perfect condition.
Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer.
Refunds are processed within 14 days after inspection.
- Returns and Exchanges
If a product is defective, incorrect, or damaged, the Customer may request:

Maison IV may request evidence (photos, description, packaging details) to evaluate the claim.
- Customer Accounts
A customer account may be required to:
book appointments;
view past orders;
manage preferences.
The Customer is responsible for keeping login credentials confidential.
Maison IV may suspend or delete accounts in case of misuse or breach of Terms.
- Use of the Website
The Customer agrees not to:
use the Site unlawfully;
extract or reproduce content without permission;
attempt to bypass security measures;
upload malicious content;
interfere with the Site’s functioning.
Maison IV may block access in case of abuse or technical threat.
- Intellectual Property
All Site content and all materials presented during videoconferences—including texts, photos, designs, brand elements, videos, packaging concepts, and product names—are the exclusive property of Maison IV.
Any reproduction, modification, or distribution without written consent is strictly prohibited.
- Data Protection
Personal data collected during:
videoconference appointments;
website visits;
order processes;
is processed in accordance with GDPR and French law.

- Liability
Maison IV is not liable for:
technical failures or interruptions;
videoconference connectivity issues not caused by Maison IV;
indirect damages;
delays caused by carriers;
force majeure events (weather, strikes, pandemics, transport disruptions, etc.).
Maison IV’s liability is limited to foreseeable damages directly caused by its own negligence.
- Force Majeure
Maison IV shall not be held responsible for any failure or delay caused by events outside its reasonable control, including:
natural disasters;
strikes;
government restrictions;
technical breakdowns;
supply shortages;
transport blockages.
- Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law.
Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, unless mandatory consumer laws provide otherwise.
